Policies
~ No Reserved Seating – we offer general admission, open air, wooden bleacher style seats.
~ We operate rain, heat or shine. – No refunds for inclement weather.
~ Cooler size will be checked at the gate for size and contents. LARGE Coolers will not be allowed in through the Entry Gate. Small Coolers are permitted and must fit inside our milk crate in order to be taken in the arena stands (size 12″ x 12″). Glass bottles are not allowed.
~ BYOB – NO GLASS BOTTLES!
~ Giant/Double Baby Strollers or Wagons will not be permitted into the rodeo or bleachers area because of limited seating area. Small/Single Strollers okay.
~ No pets permitted on the premises. Service Dogs welcomed within guidelines set forth by the ADA.
~ Our vendors sell peanuts and Cowtown is NOT a Nut-Free Zone. There are always nut products being sold and consumed in the bleacher areas. Visitors are responsible for bringing their own medications & first aid for nut allergy management (ie: Epi-Pen). Our staff does not have access to these to provide you in case of reaction
~ NO SMOKING in the bleacher areas!! We ask you to be considerate & smoke in the away designated areas. Guests smoking in the bleachers will be asked to depart the rodeo & will not be refunded.
~LARGE FORMAT CAMERA LENSES ARE NOT PERMITTED If guests are found with large lense cameras/equipment without prior approval, you will be asked to exit and take your equipment to your vehicle. You will have the option to remain and enjoy the rodeo. Tickets will not be refunded after purchase because of guests not acknowledging or inquiring about our policies before their visit.

Camera Policies – If interested in photographing as a hobby; clubs and guests are requested to email [email protected] for pre-approval to enter with certain camera equipment at least 2 wks prior to their visit. September is our busiest month & because of recent large attendance, photography inquiries are requested to be revisited with us in the new year for the 2023 Rodeo Season. Thank you for your understanding.
~ Photographs & Video taken at Cowtown Rodeo cannot be sold without the permission from the PRCA.
~ Press Passes are issued by advance request only, Monday – Friday. Please contact our office with your Press Pass requests. Please include your name & contact info, the name of the publication (print or TV station) you are working for, information on the scope of your article or story, and the date which you are planning to come to the rodeo.
~ Announcement requests: Leave your short birthday/anniversary announcement at the Ticket Booth when you arrive at the entry gate. Please bring it with you already written as we may not have paper or pens available. It is at our Announcers discretion if all announcements are made during the Rodeo. PLEASE NOTE: We do not accept Announcement Requests via phone calls, email, Facebook or Instagram.
